i'm almost 16 and my dad and i have found these two cars that we are very interested in but we can't really decide which one is better, and they are a little pricey for what we had in mind:
1. 2001 Subaru Forester, Aspen White
-124,060 miles
-test driven, result: only the front right speaker works, and the engine skips when setting (idling),
the dealer said they would look in to it and try to fix it
-the exterior has minimal rusting, and is in decent condition for its age
-dealership asking $7,100
2. 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, Black
-98,000 miles
-V8 engine
-looked at but not driven yet, result: no rust on the exterior, inside driver seat has minimal wear on the leather.
-owner asking $7,800
so we're stuck, some advice would help, and we've never had to buy a used car before so we are unsure.
