I have around £800 to spend because I'm moving to Australia, I have just sold my iPhone as it as been blocked in the UK and I was wondering which phone I should get, I want the Nokia N97 but then I would only have around £400 left to spend on building a computer and buying a TV + PS3.
The two phones I have been looking at are:
Motorola Milestone (Droid)
I chose this phone for a few reasons, mostly because of it's look and weight. I like a heavy phone because when they are light they feel very fragile, the phone is also made from Metal. I hear good things about the Android 2.0 Operation System and the touch screen seems to compliment the excellent QWERTY keyboard very well.
Samsung Genio Slide (CorbyPro)
I chose this phone aswell because it is very cheap, if I was to buy the Motorola Milestone I would not have enough money for the other things that I want, if however, I bought this phone; I would have around £250 more than if I bought the other one.
Please could you answer this question knowing these things:
- I will use my phone A LOT for the internet, I was to use the phone I would be on websites a lot, trolling forums or checking out some Helicopter blades or something, I need a phone that is responsive and great online. The Motorola seems 10x more worthy than the Genio Slide at this point.
- I would be watching/using a lot of multimedia, I would be listening to Music and watching films from my phone a lot, this means I need a good battery life, but also a great screen - once again the Motorola wins by a LONG shot, I hear that it's super bright screen and great display is amazing for watching things, but is it worth the £250?
Thanks for the answer,
Don't even try telling me to get an iPhone.. I got a 3G at christmas with my own money, my dad got a 3GS, both work exactly the same, I jailbroke both, I also had an iPod touch, they are so boring - the novelty of jailbreaking everything wears off and the games are a complete joke.
I'm sick of having the "Must Have i" feeling, I think it's about time I got a solid, slide out QWERTY Keyboard multimedia phone.
Don't say anything about the iPhone, their just iPod touches with a cheap camera and phone built in, too much hassle to not update while jailbroken.
