Should I get the iPad 2 or wait for the iPad 3? And is iPad better or the iPhone?

I've never been an Apple customer before, this will be the first time. I like the iPad 2, but rumors saying iPad 3 coming out confused me, should I get the 2 or wait for the 3? Does it worth the extra cash and time? Notice that I don't own the iPad 1.
And about your personal opinions, is the iPad 2 better or the iPhone 4? Cause sometimes I feel that the iPad is too big, but its still great as a mini pc for watching movies and surfing the web, but also the iPhone is a phone and is more-portable, what do you think?
Also could you add reasons..
 
U should wait for the iPad 3 but it won't be until around 2012 summer. Regarding iPad or iPhone it depends on u. IPhone is a phone and the iPad is a mini computer. Personally I don't like the iPad but prefer an iPod but if I had the money I would get an iPhone. But wait for iPhone which may be out this September
