should I get the Honda civic ?

Im thinking about getting a 2005 or 2006 civic sedan for my first car with manual transmission but don't know how to drive stick but will have someone in my family teach me but my question is the clutch forgiving on this car and are they easy to learn on do you think I should get this car for my first thanks for the answers in advance.And also are they good cars like are they reliable and are they good in snow.
 
By all means get this car i have a 92 honda civic it may break down on me at anytime i could not ask for a better car.
 
Civics are great cars. Easy to learn how to drive.

You learned how to drive a car, learning how to drive a manual is not hard at all.
 
NO. If you can't drive a stick, stay away. Right now these are very over priced and repair bills are ridiculous. They do not last forever. it is very plain and very tinny. Small wheels and very hard to handle in the snow. Drive by any Honda dealership and peak into the Service bays where the guys are working. A lot of heavy duty repair work. You will also have to replace the timing belt at about 80,000 miles and that's about $1,500.

Stick with a bigger car, like an Altima. Now they run forever. And will be cheaper all around for operating and owning.
