Should I get ceramic or metal braces?

I have to get braces soon, and I'm kind of having trouble deciding. I know the ceramic ones are more cosmetically appealing, but I've heard that they stain and break easily. On the other hand, the metal ones won't look as good but will probably be cheaper/sturdier. I'm going to be a sophomore in high school.

Which one would you go with? Do you have either?
 
Actually, I was going to get ceramic braces, I decided not to at the last minute, because they do eventually stain and change color over time. Also, you can tell that you have them, unfortunately, I got them put on due to a mistake, and I hated them. They were giant chunks and you could totally tell I had them. I did eventually get metal ones, and I love love love the way they look, it just looks a lot better, plus you can always add colored rubber bands to them just to have some color. So, definitely metal.
