So this summer I'm moving to San Diego from Virginia with my bf. I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. It kind of seems like it's on its last leg... it has like 170,000 miles and has needed a lot of repairs within the last year. The AC doesn't work at all (which I don't really care but still). I'm wondering whether I should bother transporting the car across the country or should I just sell it and get something more reliable. If so what should I get? I'm thinking a used car, something reliable and safe and not ugly.
Advice?
i LOVE the jeep. And it's often 90 degrees and super humid here in the summer and I didn't have AC so I'm sure the AC thing wouldn't be a problem in CA.
