I am looking for a TV for my room mainly for playing xbox and watching DVD's every once in a while. Right now I own a small normal TV that works perfectly fine but isn't HD. I am considering upgrading to an HDTV of about the same size for my room. My concern is the lag time for the HDTV and the xbox. I read that all HDTV's have a certain lag time and I have experienced it on my large HDTV in the living room and it is definently harder to play on that TV than on the normal TV because of this lag. I also read somewhere else that if you buy HDMI cables for the xbox it gets rid of this lag. My question is should I spend the money on the HDTV and the HDMI cables or just use my normal TV and save the money for something else?
Should I get an HDTV or keep my normal TV?
