Should I get a new phone or the new sims game, Sims 3?

I have been thinking about getting a new phone, Samsung impression to be exact, but then i read the review for Sims 3 in a magazine. It seems pretty interesting and i was quite a fan of the last sims game, and heard of lots of improvements.

Which one should i get?
