Should I get a Motorola Droid?

I'm thinking about getting the Droid, but I'm just not sure about a couple of things. For one, I keep my phone in my front pocket. Is the phone too big to slide it in your pocket easily? Also, what about battery life? I've read a lot that it's terrible. And I guess just what ever other information you guys have about the phone... apps. features, your opinion on the the phone, etc. Thanks for your help!

it shouldnt be big for your pants pocket and if it, get bigger pants. go to a verizon store and try the phone out before you buy it. its a really nice phone except you have to pay $30 a month extra for data.
 
Size-wise it's about the same as the iPhone, so it shouldn't be a big problem. As for battery life, it's not miserable, but can feel a little lacking when you're surfing the web on 3G, or playing games.
Also consider the Droid Eris. It's smaller & half the price, but lacks a keyboard & some of the speed.
