Should I get a Motorola Droid?

I'm thinking about getting the Droid, but I'm just not sure about a couple of things. For one, I keep my phone in my front pocket. Is the phone too big to slide it in your pocket easily? Also, what about battery life? I've read a lot that it's terrible. And I guess just what ever other information you guys have about the phone... apps. features, your opinion on the the phone, etc. Thanks for your help!

Battery life depends on phone usage. If you put it in your pocket and never use it, then yeah, it's going to stay charged for a while. If you use apps and net and everything all the time, you'll only get a few hours - just like any other cell phone. My friend has one and we had it going Friday for about five hours with moderate use (texts and calls here and there, watched a few youtube vids, etc) before we had to charge it.

The phone does have a few issues. A big one is that the microphone doesn't work right on all of them. (My friend just had to return his, but they gave him a new one with no hassle.)

But it will fit in your pocket, it's not a bad phone, some of the apps I've seen are really cool. It doesn't have nearly as many apps as the iphone, but it's still really new and new apps will come out for it all the time. If you need all the bells and whistles, then it's worth it, but a lot of people don't need all those features, and Verizon requires you to have the $29.99 unlimited data with it, so if you don't already have that, your bill will go up.
