Should I get a job in the town in which I reside if I may go to university/live in

another town? I live in the country and will go to college in the city 60 miles away. I might as well work at my college or something. Me - 19 years. I just quit my job, maybe not a good move due to conflict with boss but it was only one day a week. However, I could work three-four days a week this summer near my house and quit come college this September. That would not be a committment though to work. I am confused, but I have bills like car that will start to eat at my savings for college, of which I am not sure to stop either. I can go back to biking/bussing it?
The darned problem is that I haven't been notified by my university yet of admission. It is June-July, and school starts September! It sucks! I know! So I either play it patiently with work or start something.
Another thing I can do is regress back to working under the table jobs for my neighbors/communtiy. Little jobs to cover. I already have an offer from a neighbor.
I really needed to quit my old job. The situation got heated and my boss is a woman bitch. It was only $64 a week. I could make $164 a week at another place just a few days.
