Should I get a G36C Airsoft Gun?

My friend wants to sell me his JG G36C with two batteries, and upgraded hop-up, and original box all for 130$. I am pretty sure that it is a good deal and nothing is broken, but is the gun a good gun. When I see a G36 I just get this feeling that it is a really close range gun(that may just be because of COD4). By the way this is Airsoft.
 
this is true of the real gun, but in airsoft it doens't really matter haha. if anything, i woudl say go with the g36 just because everyone has an m4 or m16 anyway. you'd be unique haha.

plus if it has a rail u can trick it out w/ a scope, flashlight, laser, etc.
