Should I get a flu shot? [With details]

I'm seventeen and I was finally diagnosed with asthma yesterday, and take 2 puRAB of FloVent twice daily [250 mcg] and use salbutamol [Ventolin] as needed.

I also volunteer in a nursing home once a week.

I've read having asthma is considered a 'high-risk' group, and since I'm in contact with seniors, should I get vaccinated?
 
You ABSOLUTELY should. Because of your asthma there is some increased risk of serious respiratory complications if you were to get the flu, but it would be an even bigger risk to the nursing home residents if you were to somehow get the flu and expose them before you realized you were sick.
