should i get a car?

right now i'm a sophmore in high school and i'm 15, my birthday is in november. so i can get my permit my junior year and license my senior year. right now i have about 3000 dollars. is it worth saving to get a car for my senior year? i've also heard that you can't drive in college your freshman and sophmore year depending on the college you go to. so... is it worth saving money to get a car my senior year? also, another option i've thought of is getting a nice one that'll last me a while and not paying for it all now, like getting a loan or something. maybe when i'm a senior i'd get a decent car and pay most of the money i have upfront and pay it off as i get a job in college. also, i make like 10 dollars an hour babysitting like about every 3-4 weeks and i walk my neighbors dog once or twice a week and she pays me 5 dollars for that so that's how i've been making money lately.
 
i think you should save your money because if you keep saving then the money you make and the money you already have will add up quickly and i would suggest getting another job just to add a little more money to what you are already making and what you already have and you could end up with a nice car that wil last
