Should I get a better distortion/overdrive pedal or a delay pedal?

I currently have a DS-1 Distortion. I was thinking buying a TS9 Tubescreamer or stick to what I have and buy a delay pedal. *Also what is better? Digitech DigiDelay or Boss DD-3?* THANKS!
