Im currently serving in the Air Force and just recently PCS'd to the Vegas area from Florida. What I found truly amazing about this is how easy my job has been compared to my last assignment (F-15 Aircraft Maintainer). Back in Florida it was pretty much 12 hour shifts and I worked most weekends too.. Plus I was being switched between nightshift, midshift and dayshift every few weeks it seemed like. So when I wasnt working I was trying to get my sleep schedule straight (insomniac). But now at my new base I work a different aircraft and much different hours too. 8 hour shifts, nothing more than that and the workload is so much easier. Its awesome but at the same time I relized just how much spare time I had on my hands.. and its quite a bit. What I end up doing with it is watching TV and drinking when im pretty sure I could be doing much more productive things. Its not like im in a bind and really need the extra cash. (I wouldnt mind it), but it doesnt neccessarly have to be a second job but a hobby would be fine too I guess.. I'm just not sure what im into... Pretty bored though, so i'd appreciate your input
