Should i fix my crown victoria or just get a new car?

I bought my 00 crown victoria police package car in 06. After buying it in a few months i noticed the check engine light on. The intake manifold is made from plastic and was cracked in the back . It was leaking coolant down into the number 4 cylinder. Then over time it leaked into 3, 5 , 6 , and 7 now. The cracks are all over it and im using a gallon a week in coolant. The repair job is around 500$ . If i repair it , how do i know how long it will last again without it cracking? IT is made of plastic and will get alot of engine heat on it.
Should i just keep adding coolant and not fix it, and buy a chevy caprice(it has a aluminum intake) or fix it.
It seems like it is a never ending problem.
