Alright, so I have to choose whether I should fix the car my Dad gave me (a 1989 Mercedes 300CE) or get another one (budget being around $3,500). The Mercedes has 279,000 miles on it and needs some repairs (new brakes, air conditioning, tires, power steering hose, and plugs). It would cost around a grand to fix everything. So the other option would be to get a 3,500 car.. buuut, if i wait off for a while with the old car I can get a better car later. Help please?
Should i fix an old Mercedes now to get a good car later, or get an alright one now?
