Should I find the MSF course easy if I pretty much know how to ride a bike a little?

I learned from my brother (who took the course this year) and I learned how to ride in like 10 mins. I can easily go from gear 1, 2, and 3, but I havent gone above that. I need to improve my shifting and braking (especially using both the front and rear brake at the same time), but still, how much better off am I than the rest of the people that will be there that have never been on a bike? Also, should the course be easy for me since I can maneuver pretty decent on a sportsbike? I know they use Rebels and Nighthawks and Im guessing those bikes are way easier to ride?
