today i went to the jailhouse to see my boyfriend and my ex-husband to whom i have a restraining order on showed up and i went inside the jailhouse and asked who should i speak to about someone breaking a restraining order and they told me to call the police (um, excuse me here but this is what i thought you have a badge and a gun and you are telling me to call the police, um aren't you a officer as well) well there was an officer there and i showed him my restraining order and he told me that he would handle it and it clearly states that there could be a term of 1 year and a 2500 dollar fine or both he did not issue a ticket nor did the officer book him but just asked him to leave. now me i know that the officer didn't exactly do his job on making me feel safe my friend who is a deputy made me feel safer than the officer who supposedly took care of it did. i just dont know if this would have made anyone else feel safe.
no he wanted to cause trouble with me and my bf and try to get my bf to think that i was leaving him and going back to him. the officer that asked my ex to leave acted like it wasn't something he wanted to do but the bail bondsman was there and actually stood in front of me while the officer went to talk to him. according to the officer my ex told him it was an accident but he was served with papers while he was in jail and he just got out on the 12th of this month and i was standing outside so how can it be an accident i was in plain sight wearing a white t-shirt. i have since called my sheriff at home and told him and he says since he broke it he should have been under arrest immediately and actually since he now knows that he is back in town is trying to talk me into staying at a shelter and i keep telling him no cause i couldnt see my family.
