okay so im heading off to basic soon and i am allergic to grass. but dont get me wrong, im on the grass most times of the day. (football, baseball) its doesnt really bother me at all, (just itchy throat and small bumps here and there) but i was allergy tested and they said i am allergic to grass. but should i even tell them?

yes u definitely need to tell them this.....if they dont know you have allergies then really bad things can happen to you at boot camp.....plus when you break out and get a soar throat at boot camp and they find out that you lied about allergies they can charge you with fraudulent enlistment.

Yes, you should tell them when it comes up. You have to get checked out by doctors at a MEPS facility; that's the time to bring it up. Let the doctors decide if that's a deal-breaker or not. Neither you nor your recruiter are doctors.

yes, tell them because if you get down there and they see you can make it in the training they'll put u in a platoon to sit, till they figure out what to do with you. My friend got put in it for two months....
