So currently this is my 4th year... I am a sports management major with a minor in business and i will be able to graduate the spring of my 5th year..

But i think how the economy is really bad.. so I'm like i know i can find a job in sports management but willt he pay be enough?

I am minoring in business so i thought? why not become an accountant for the NBA?

so the quesiton i have is...

should i graduate next year with a sports management and minor in businesss?

or drop the sports management to pursure a carer in accounting which will take about 2.5 years...

so basically

sports management and minor in business=1 year

OR

Accounting= 2.5 years

or do both= 3.5 years?

SPorts management probably start around 35-45,000

while accounting after certifified makes about 50,000
and are also in high demand.. plus they make 75,000 after the 2nd year?

THOUGHTS?
im confused what to do this is a big decision i dont want to waste money.. and i know accounting is a good investement career

Yeah, I'd go with accounting. As long as you know your stuff, you will always have clients for accounting.

My thought seems to confirm what your research states - accountants earn more money more quickly than a sports manager would. A sports manager career could take some years to really bring in the big $. But that's not to say that being an accountant is easy - far from it.
