should i cut my hair when i go to boot camp?

im going to boot camp soon b/c im joining the US Coast Guard. should i cute my hair short? maybe an A-Line? i have hair down to about the middle of my back, and if i wear it down, i either have to stariten it because of how frizzy and curly it is, or i have to put moose and hair spray in it, which i wont be able to have in boot camp. i have side bangs wich will not go into a ponytail or bun of any sort, because they are too short. therefor, if i have to wear my hair up, and out of my face, i need hairspray and alot of it, to keep my bangs in place, away from my face. barretts simply wont hold them, or bobby pins either. what should i do?

Get a buzz cut, it's easier. The dudes in basic training are so girl-starved that any female will look beautiful to them, no mater what kind of haircut they get.
