I received the Canon HF20 for Christmas and I was disappointed with the lack of professional features on the camera. No manual white balance, iris, gain, or shutter speed controls. I appreciate the 24 megapixel, 1080i, and 24p features, but I feel like it doesn't make up for what isn't on the HF20. I been looking into the Panasonic DVX100, mainly for it's professional features and price. The 24p footage looks a lot better than the HF20's. And I mean that by it looks a lot more convincing and professional in 24p with it's 3-CCD. Although, the DVX100 doesn't provide HD which is keeping me on the fence majorly with this transition. I'm looking into making a lot of professional quality projects. Is there any camera like the DVX100 but with the HD that I could find for a reasonable price? I could really use some help with this question.
