A week ago I borrowed my mom's necklace without her permission and I lost it. I don't know what happened to it. I had to take it off to play tennis at the fitness center and when I went back to my gym bag to get it, it was gone. Before today my mom didn't even notice it was gone but now she's looking for it like crazy. It's really special to her because my stepdad gave it to her for their anniversary a couple of years ago and I can't afford to replace it since I already checked into the price and it's worth way more money then I can afford. Should I tell her the truth or just countinue to just let her look for it and think that she lost it somewhere? I don't want to get into trouble or anything.
Should I confess the truth to my mom?
