Should I confess my feelings to him?

Hi, I'm a freshman who (unfortunately) has madly fallen for a senior. I've liked this guy almost all year long but never had the chance to get close. No classes together but just student council. I can see that he's not so into me but I don't want it to end like this. The seniors have less than 20 days left of school. Should I tell him? If so, when so I don't have to deal with the awkward rejection? And HOW?
