I went to Wamart yesterday right?
I stopped in the fish section and they had a tank full of sick Platys. Most of them were covered in ick spots. I found one however that didn't have any yet. I felt so bad that I just had to buy him to save him, and I did. The fish is alive in my quarantine tank right now being medicated and I will put him in my real tank this weekend.
I'm just upset that Wamart sold me a sick fish! I told the guy at the time who got the fish out for me that the fish in that tank had ick! All he did was look in there and said, "Yeah..." then went to go get the net to get the fish for me -_-
It sickens me that they do this to their fish! They don't take care of them the way they should! There's always dead fish in their tanks and now they have ick but they still have them up for sale! I mean Jesus Christ! At least Petco will medicate them before they put them out for sale! Ya know? I doubt Walmart is even putting medication into their water!
Should I call up the store manager and complain to them? I know it won't do anything but it will at least make me feel a LITTLE bit better.
To "Abby". Yeah I know I still bought the fish. And yeah I knew he was more than likely already infected. He got one spot today, but I've already got the medication going for him so he should live.
But I bought him cuz I felt so bad. I bought it to take him outta the environment to give him a surviving chance. I knew if I didn't he would be left untreated.
