Okay so here's the deal. My girlfriend broke up with me earlier today supposedly because she still loves her ex with all her heart. But she says she still wants to be my very best friend. We switched several texts today, and since it just happened 9 hours ago of course things are still awkward between us. And on Sunday she's leaving to summer camp for three weeks.
Should I call her sometime before she leaves so that things won't still be awkward and sad between us when she gets back, because she says she still wants to be my very best friend?
If so, when do you suggest I call her? Tomorrow? Saturday? Tonight even?
Please, I'm sorry for the semi-long detail but I am still upset about this and I wanna make sure things are cool between us.
