Hey,

I am new to Ducati

I have the chance to by a 1995 916 for 4900. it has 20.9k on the odo. But is perfect. It has the normal upgrades as well

valves done every 5,000 miles. They were done at 20,000K and the oil is done every 4K-5K too. All records.

Is it worth it. It will get driven a lot. and i assume the bike's depreciation is already done. haha. do these motors hold up?

Yes....... with a qualitative BUT.
More miles per year means more $$ per year in regular maintenance.

There is no reason why it shouldn't last as long as any other bike as long as it is maintained properly. Mind you certain OEM parts will be harder to get in the coming years but then again there is a wealth of aftermarket parts out there as well these days.
