...tune it and maybe go to the tracks and do some drifting?

Should i consider buying this vechile as it cheap and is very popular with tuners and very powerfull could be swapped with the 2JTZ supra engine??
 
If it's in good shape, go for it. They're known as the "foor-door Supra" in America for that purpose.
