should i buy NASCAR 09 on PS3 or on PS2?

i currently have a PS2 console which i am still quite happy with, but i saw that NASCAR 09 is coming out on June 13 and i didn't know if i should get it on PS2 or on PS3 (when i get the PS3 in 3/4 months)

if i buy it on PS2 the graphics and the game won't be as good as the PS3 version

what should i do?
 
It really depends on how much you want the game. Obviously it will not look nearly as good as on PS3 and there is probably an online option with PS3. However, it is more than liekly that the physics of the game will be the same or very similar. Generally the gameplay will be the same to be honest
