Should I buy my laptop based on Ghz or a new processor? (read additional

details please)? Well, I have been considering 3 laptops very closely. My parents will not allow me to buy any laptop more than $500 and these are the three I have been thinking about. Toshiba Satellite L755-S5214 has the newest Intel i3 processor (2nd generation). However, it's Ghz (2.1) is lower than my other two considerations, Toshiba Satellite C655-S5128 (2.53 Ghz) and HP Pavilion g6-1b79dx (2.4 Ghz), both of whom have the previous generation Intel i3 processor. So basically, my question/problem is whether I should buy the Toshiba Satellite L755-S5214 with its new i3 processor but lower Ghz, or choose from the Toshiba Satellite C655-S5128 or HP Pavilion g6-1b79dx which have the previous generation processor but better Ghz. Also to mention, the specs are very similar in terms of memory for all the laptops I am considering (all three have 4GB RAM and 500 GB hard drive) which adds to the difficulty deciding.
