Should I buy my iMac from the apple store or online?

I was just thinking about the cost. If I do it online they charge me $103 tax to ship it to my house . Now if I buy it at the apple store in person will the tax be the same? Which would be better apple store or online...oh and I don't want to customize it. Have u gone through this ?
