Should I buy Bioshock for the PS3?

I've heard Bioshock is incredible, but I don't really like first person shooters very much. I don't know any of the plot twists, and I LOVE a good story in a game, but at the same time, when I read what the story was about before the game came out for the 360 I wasn't all that interested... I was thinking either this, or the new Prince of Persia... What do you think?
 
if you like fps, then bioshock is a good purchase
if you want an epic story, then buy elder scrolls: oblivion
