Should i Buy an iMac?

I'm 15 and im wondering if i should buy an iMac. I have a laptop that is two years old and it runs kinda slow. I also have a desktop downstairs , but thats like 5 years old. If i wanted to buy the iMac i would have to save all the money i earn from my job for 9 weeks,(this whole summer) whichwould be around 1,400 dollars. Im really contimplating if i should wait till i go of to college to buy myself one of these amazing computers.
I know this is long but i need advice, can someone help me?
