Should i buy a road bike?????????

ok well im 13 and im 5 ft 1 and i have a mountain bike i just usually ride around with my friends i was thinking about getting a bmx but i dont like dembut iv always been fasinated by road bikes which one do u think is better btw this is just for like riding around da city and riding with friends no proffesional cycling.. btw i have a raleigh mountain bike i think its 24 inch but my dad has a bigger bike a giant one which is a bigger one but i can still ride it but im not as balanced if i was a little taller it woldnt be an issue

Get the road bike, in 47cm size. You will love the speed a road bike is capable of...much faster than a mountain bike. Making 35-45mph downhill sprints will convince you to buy one. Due to the razor thin tire footprint and lack of rolling resistence, each turn of the cranks is nothing but pure, forward motion!
