Should I buy a Plasma TV or stick with my perfectly fine (yet old) tube TV?

There's nothing wrong with the tube TV... Which makes me feel rather uneasy for tossing it. I never really toss anything unless it's defected... The tube TV still works great and all...

However, I must consider Plasma's will have a better picture, look sleeker, etc...

I watch TV moderately so... I'm not sure what to do, Have most folks tossed their tube TV's by now?
and I must also note I am on a budget.. Although I have the money for it, there are other things I can use that money on...

Anyways. You'll save some money on electricity especially with a plasma, that's for sure. Going green? I personally don't care so either way =) Do any gaming? Especially online? HD can be an advantage... those are two things I could think of, right off the top of my head.

But me? I get attached to my electronics. I'd probably keep it until it died and keep it a little longer. Just get a nice 40 odd inch flat screen, and put the tube in a stark room with plastic-covered furniture, have your throwback parties in there.
