J Jerry J Guest May 16, 2008 #2 Depends on the memory you have but a memory upgrade will let you run XP assuming you don't already have enough memory. You will need a minimum of 128 but preferablr 256 Meg. The processor will handle XP

D deanyourfriendinky Guest May 16, 2008 #3 If Windows 98 is working for you, you don't need to spend your money. If you want to move up to the world of Windows XP or Vista (or a recent 'nix distribution), consider a new computer. You need to consider what processor your computer's motherboard can accommodate.
