I am currently in the Army stationed in Germany... A month prior before I left for Germany I bought a Blackberry Storm. I had it deactivated on my over here because I didn't want to pay international fees. Well, now I need a cellphone. I called Verizon and tried to get an unlock code so I can use a T-Mobile Sim card. They told me all I had to do was pay off my current balance of $140 and they would give me the unlock code. I have a friend offering me a phone for $20 all I have to do is buy pre-paid sim cards. Now should I pay the $140 so I can get the unlock code, or should I just pay $20 to get this phone be offered to me? Either way I will be buying the Sim card.
Should I buy a new phone? If....?
