should i buy a new or used car?

I just graduated high school last summer and am looking for a different car. I have 10,000 saved up and plan to put about 7k down bc i dont really have any credit established. im going to college next year. my current car is too slow does about 0-60 in 12 secs and thats sucks it runs perfectly but i cant stand slow. i am looking at either a used infiniti g35 coupe/ nissan 350z/ mazda rx8 or a new nissan altima coupe or something. I make approx $1000-1500 every month and live at home and have been at job for over a year. And no answers about i should keep my car!!!
 
Buy a used car. Your used car choices are good but I think you'd also like the 1990-1995 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo if you get one with low mileage. They can make 500HP on stock internals if there modded right and respond to performance mods better because of the turbos. They also look better i think.
