I'm considering a Lexus ISC 250, which isn't on the current list of recalled cars. But I am still concerned about a few things. One is the possibility that it can get recalled. The other is the lowered brand value of Toyota/Lexus now, which could lower the resell value in the future.
On the flip side, since Toyota is hurting, I can probably get a better deal than I did a few months ago and Lexus may strive to work harder to keep me happy with better support if anything goes wrong. I also considered that if I buy a different brand car, the prices may have gone up since potential Lexus buyers are flocking to the other luxury brands.
