Should I buy a jeep cherokee xj or Mitsubishi Evo for first car?

Jeep-
Offroading, lift kit, road trip, drive on beach and rugged look with more space. Cheaper
Evo-
Racing, speed, luxurious, pick up some bitches, upgrade audio sustems(bass)
Both have advantages but I just wanted to hear some opinions.
