I'm trying to decide whether or not I should buy a "data access plan" for my phone so that I can use my cell phone as an internet access point (for my laptop) or if I should just buy a separate broadband service.
1) Does a cell-phone based internet access service work well? Is it fast enough to do common tasks?
2) Are there any phones/service plans that are better than others? Any bad ones?
3) Are there any "broad band" service providers that are better than others?
