Should I buy a 2008 Pontiac G6, or a Mazda6?

Of the two, you should most definitely choose the Mazda6. It's simply a better-made, more reliable, and better performing vehicle that will also hold its value much better.

And if you're considering a Mazda6, you should consider the Ford Fusion first, as both vehicles were derived from the same fundamental chassis; but Ford has turned it into an elegant suite of vehicles whether you choose the I4 FWD S, V6 AWD SEL, 265hp Sport, or the best-available Hybrid on the market. Not only is the Fusion superb, and would it give you the opportunity to support the one legitimate American auto manufacturer that didn't require a dime of government assistance, but you'd be buying yourself the 2010 Motor Trend Car of the Year in the process.

And once you've owned a vehicle equipped with Ford's SYNC voice control system, you'll never want to own another car without it.

For every way the Mazda6 exceeds the G6, the Fusion surpasses the Mazda6.

They are in the same price range. What are some reasons why or why not for both??
Any other suggestions of cars under 12,000 dollars?
 
Nobody can really truthfully answer that question for you. you're going to pick the car you want regarless of what others say. If your looking for the best car for your buck i would go with the mazda. I like them both they are both great cars.
