I'm looking at a 2001 mazda protege with 180,000 miles on it. The owner brought brand new and uses to commute 50 minutes away. He's asking $2500. The interior is immaculate. It has all of the options, power everything, moonroof, 6 disc cd changer etc. The outside right rear quarter panel has a small amount of bubbling, but for the price I could take care of that. Mechanically do these cars go the distance? I've had 2 mazda's in the past and LOVED them. Should I buy this car? When I test drive it tonight, anything I should look out for?
