Should I buy a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo or 2002 Mazda Tribute?

The Jeep has 70,524 miles on it and the dealership wants $7,995 for it. The Mazda has 82,124 miles on it and the dealership wants $9,415 for it. (Both come with a 3 month/3000 mile warranty) Any opinons about either one? Should I pay sticker price or negotiate? Also which will be cheaper to fix if something breaks?

I have a 2002 Tribute and love it. It has been a great rig since we bought it new. The Jeep is a great vehicle if you plan on taking it off-road, much better suited for that activity than the Tribute. But if you plan on staying on the pavement the Mazda will be a much better driving experience. As far as cheaper to fix, I don't know as we haven't had to fix anything on ours other than regular maintenance. It's been a great value to us.

You should always negotiate.

the jeep is the best bet the last forever the jeep will be cheaper if something breaks and neogotiate the price to the jeep try to bring it down to 7,500

OMG!!! DO NOT BUY THE JEEP! Dont pay sticker, negotiate. I would get the Mazda. Chrysler/Jeep have the worst ratings and resale on the planet.
