There is a 2003 ford taurus sel for sale with 150,000 miles on it and a rebuilt transmission from american transmissions, and a amazingly clean interior and exterior for $3100; I can bring the price down.
I keep hearing different consumer reviews on the car, some love it and have no problems, and some have major transmission problems and etc.
My question is should I buy the car even though it is well known for having horrible transmission problems that go out without warning, as they say online, and is there any way to put a better transmission or what ever is causing the problem so I can have a more reliable car? Thanks
