I keep finding empty packs of cigarettes in my little brother's room. When I ask him about it he lies. He says he's using them for an art project. Like I can't tell he is smoking. But then I saw him smoking at school the other day smoking. I talked to my parents about it, and they said he is an adult and he can do what he wants. I think they have given up on him.
No one else in the family smokes, and I don't even know anyone that does these days. It seems so rare. What is pissing me off about my brother is that when anyone talks to him about it he becomes really rude and shouts "SHUT UP, JUST LEAVE ME ALONE." He will even shout that to our mom's face without apology. He has no manners at all.
He just turned 21. We are both still in college. The way I see if, if he does not stop smoking, I'm not going to have a brother when we are old, so maybe I should be worried about it. Talking does not do anything for him. He is a jerk about it. Should I just start punching him as hard as I can in the gut every time I see him smoking from now on till he gets the point?
He is in the other room right now, coughing like some discussing diseased gross guy. Oh, and it looks like he has a beer in his hand too. It's 2 AM. wtf. Looks like he's going to get a beer belly too apparently. Our parents seemed a little pissed today that they just gave him $200 for college food and he seems to have spent it on some six packs of beer beer for himself, and he doesn't know what happened to the rest. -Right-
I asked my parents to make him take a drug test as a requirement for letting him live at home, but they won't do it for some reason. What can i do?
