Hey guys,
I am at work today feeling just horrible. Last week, I battled on and off headaches. I started reading up on menigitis and getting scared when I felt some mild neck discomfort, but my temp was fine. Eventually the headaches went away and I enjoyed a great 3 day weekend. I was convinced that the problem was sinus pain due to the sudden warmer temps in my area.
Well I woke up this morning with an intense headache. It still felt like sinus affecting only the right corner of my forehead. I took two advil which dulled the pain considerably. Unfortunately, the other symptom is mild to extreme nausea. I can't get rid of it, and now I'm worried. I lost my appetite as well, but I haven't vomited yet. I don't feel feverish, but I am starting to feel chilled and weak.
So I'm a bit worried again about menigitis. Does this sound more like the flu or something else? Do the menigitis headaches tend to cause the entire head to hurt, not just a portion?
