today during school, this person came with a list of people that are chosen or recommended by their teachers to be in the dabate team. those students who were chosen did well in school maintaining good grades. i was one of those chosen people. i kinda sort of want to be in it. i am the most timid person that you'll ever come across. speaking is the last the thing that i want to do......i am not sure if i want to take this debate class because i don't consider myself as a good debator .....on the other hand i feel like if i join it, i can improve my speaking skills. so i don't know, should i take this opportunity or not???
and by the way, im curently a freshman in highschool. so i have to decide if i'm going to take it nest semester for my sophomore year.
and also do you have to be a good debator to be in it??? what do you do in that class overall????
